Because of the names Richard Somes (who directed the best and knock-out SRR episode nung Part 9 —- not sure which part was that basta yung kay Mark Anthony Fernandez), Jerrold Tarrog (who did a similar knock-out episode last year with “Punerarya”) and Chris Martinez (who I believe is another talented filmmaker), I went to see Shake, Rattle & Roll 13 yesterday (Last full...

I grew up with Eat Bulaga! →
I grew up with Eat Bulaga! They’re game! The entire dabarkads can be very spontaneous. Plus I enjoy the hosting skills of Vic and Joey. And although I don’t watch TV anymore for almost 15 years now, I had fun watching this clip (Jose earns big points here!). It’s something we call…..BULLSEYE!

I was browsing albums yesterday at Rob Ermita and found a CD with Imelda Marcos on the cover. ‘was shocked to see it was a concept album by David Byrne (of Talking Heads) and Fatboy Slim. And the guest artists are top-notch: Santigold, Cyndi Lauper, Tori Amos, Kate Pierson (of the B-52’s) and a whole lot more! Check it out

I find it really difficult to edit lines, articles and statements that contain superlatives pertaining to me. I’m sincerely touched by them but all I think about when confronted by such situation is to do my job and then move on to do other tasks. But the words and statements linger to motivate me to do more and be better for others.
Before people label the executive branch of government as dictatorial, why don’t we all remind ourselves of how much a midnight appointee who clings to a position and drags the whole institution, talking as if he owns it, is as dictatorial as the one he accuses. =)
There are people who are thankful and there are people who are THANKFUL. You know what I mean? This really shows how we are raised and how we value the things around us. =)
Pave the way for "Night Force"! →
As if I’m not having much fun with the “Animal Man” and “Swamp Thing” series with DC doing Vertigo-esque approach (so now I’m back to comic collecting since The New 52 launch!) yet, DC announced a “Night Force” 7-issue mini-series slated for early next year and this doubles the fun of comic collecting. The team is a knock-out! (knock-out is an...

”In all the 19 cases against Arroyo brought before the Supreme Court, Corona never once voted against her. That’s right, never once. The score is 19-0. The score is all for Gloria, none for glory. The score is all for one, none for all. That includes not quite incidentally government’s petition revoking Arroyo’s midnight appointees, of which Corona stood first in line. Of course Corona...

Who does Peraxxus reminds you of?
The new villain Peraxxus debuts in Justice League International (DC Comics) this month. I love DC’s relaunch of The New 52 (heck, I always loved DC!) but I can’t help noticing…..is it just me or does he really look like Galactus, Thanos and Terrax combined - all Marvel Comics’ characters! hehehe! Peraxxus also reminds me of DC’s famous villain Darkseid (who appears in...

Thank you, Supreme Artist for making everything possible. Though we really can’t control things despite of the fact that we want everything to be perfect, we are really blessed that you allow good things to happen. I badly need a PC upgrade (which has wow specs years ago! Hello Bobby!). Three straight days of video edits and it slows down to death. My new camera has also been ordered. 2012...
