It’s always a delight to be treated VIP even if you’re just in the economy class. Just a few hours ago, I was given business-class food and drinks and priceless service on board courtesy of a former student (the beautiful and smart Rachelle Anne Coderes). She told me, “Sir, you’re my prof.”…and everything went wonderful after that. Of course, I remembered her very well.
It’s my third time to experience something like this. Twice via Philippine Airlines and once at Northwest Airlines. Both were former students and one I just met at the Vancouver Airport. I didn’t know he was a flight steward on vacation. It’s really nice to see all these good people going out of their way to give you an extra mile of service. It is much appreciated. It is humbling. God bless them. =)
